The programme is separated into several parts kept distinct during the entire design process. Within the open space of the lobby, discrete volumes are connected by a meandering ramp that, apart from acting as a spatial connector, enhances the "see and be seen" phenomenon of the hotel lobby. The treatment of the double façade is a play of colourful translucent materials where each room, when rented, is lit a different colour. The hotel thus becomes a gigantic billboard, a sort of "light board" visible from major accesses to the city.
